Financial Analyst II with Credit One Bank, N.A. (Las Vegas, NV) Job Description: Conduct quantitative analyses of information involving financial data of private institution.

Analyze and manage large financial data sets and draw conclusions. Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as requested, primarily related to anomaly detection, investigation, and explanation. Apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to create or update internal and external financial statements.

Utilize database tools to manage, manipulate, and analyze large sets of financial information. Coordinate with various departments to monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual financial deliverables. Prepare and present internal reports and presentations to management.

Job Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Requires at least 3 years of experience. Must have some experience in each of the following skills: at least one of the following: SQL Server, Oracle, or SAS Advanced; ability to build complex models in Excel Business Intelligence: Power Pivot and Power Query; data modeling and data mining; econometric and statistical procedures, including Regression Analysis and Time Series Analysis; facilitating migrations across accounting software platforms; generating and automating reports to streamline operations; tracking financial and operational progress by creating monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements; conducting financial variance analysis to identify trends, patterns, and discrepancies in financial data; participating in the annual audit process with external auditors, including providing financial reporting support and variance explanations; implementation and maintenance of financial reporting systems and tools; managing General Ledger entries and the month-end close process; designing and implementing internal controls over financial reporting; and experience in the financial services industry.
